I've been working on my novel, Mother of Monsters, off and on for about four years now. In the past year, I finally caught a head of steam. I now have a complete manuscript of around 82,000 words, and I'm slowly slogging through rounds of edits.
This novel has followed me through two moves, a few job changes, losing a dog, getting a dog, and a hundred other smaller changes. It's followed America and the world through all kinds of crazy crap. It's been a part of the back half of my 30s, and I'm excited to nearly have it ready to share with the world.
